How To Cook Potatoes With Cream And Yellow Cheese - Recipe

Required products :

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated yellow cheese
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper to taste

Method of preparation :

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices about 3 millimeters thick.
  • Wipe the pan with the chopped garlic clove, then grease it with 1 tablespoon of oil.
  • Spread 1/3 of the potatoes in the pan and sprinkle with 1/3 of the cream, salt, pepper, yellow cheese, thyme and butter.
  • Repeat with the second and third layers, finishing again with yellow cheese, thyme and butter.
  • Cover the pan with foil and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 40-45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
