Required products :
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 tea cup brown sugar
- 1 egg at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup banana puree
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- pinch of salt
Method of preparation :
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Remove from the heat, add the sugar and stir.
- Add the egg, banana puree and vanilla and beat with a mixer until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix with the dough attachments.
- Pour the nuts into the mixture and mix lightly to distribute evenly.
- Transfer the dough to a greased pan and bake in a preheated 180 degree oven for about 25 minutes (or until the toothpick comes out clean from the center of the cake).
- Allow the banana cake to cool completely before slicing and serving.
