Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Method of preparation :

  • Mix the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda in a medium bowl.
  • In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, egg, butter and vanilla.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon until homogeneous.
