Required products :
- 1 teaspoon flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Method of preparation :
- Mix the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and baking soda in a medium bowl.
- In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, egg, butter and vanilla.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon until homogeneous.
- Heat the waffle iron according to the instructions of the appliance and bake the waffles until golden.
- Serve them warm, garnished with honey, favorite jam, fresh fruit or anything else of your choice.
