Required products :

1 large onion

1/3 tea cup of fresh milk

a few tablespoons of vegetable oil

egg white

1 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon leavening agent

flour - about 1/2 tea cup

Method of preparation :

The important thing in making this fragrant crunchy temptation is to properly cut the onion head. There is nothing complicated in this, we apply a scheme that clearly describes the whole process. All you have to do is arm yourself with a sharp knife and strictly follow the instructions.

Cut off the onion lid and peel.

Make opposite cuts on all four sides. Then cut each quarter in two more places.

The bottom should look like the next picture.

In the end, this is such an onion flower :)

To easily dissolve all the "petals", you can immerse the cut head in a bowl of cold water.

Once the fantastic flower is dissolved, take it out of the water, dry it and very carefully grease it with oil.

Mix the dry ingredients with the flour and pour into a plastic bag in which you put the onion. Its entire surface should be covered with a combination of flour and spices.

Pour the remaining amount into a bowl, pour in the milk, add a little oil and the beaten egg whites. Spread the mixture on the onion (maybe with your hands).

Place the prepared head in a tray, the bottom of which you have covered with baking paper and place in the oven until ready (about 18 - 20 minutes are enough).

It is important that the dough is not liquid and the baking temperature is around 200-250 degrees. If the "petals" start to burn, grease them additionally.

Serve with your favorite sauce, which can be tomato, cream, cheese, mustard or your choice.

Enjoy your meal!
