Necessary products:

 

  • 300 grams of wholemeal flour
  • 300 grams of white flour
  • additional flour for kneading
  • 1/2 cube fresh yeast
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 100 grams of chopped black olives
  • 1 teaspoon liquid honey
  • 250 milliliters of warm water
  • 5 grams of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

 

Method of preparation:

 

In a bowl, mix the two types of flour and add the baking powder, salt and olives. In another bowl, activate the yeast, add olive oil, honey and water. Mix and combine with dry ingredients.

Stir the dough until it starts to peel off the walls of the dish and place it on a floured surface. Knead for 10 minutes and form a round loaf. Put it in a tray lined with parchment paper and leave to rest for 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees and bake the bread for 45 minutes. When ready, wrap it in a clean damp cloth. Cut and serve.
