How To Cook Stuffed Dried Peppers With Beans And Leeks - Recipe

Required products :

  • 10 dried red peppers
  • 1 cup white beans
  • 2 stalks of leeks, finely chopped
  • 60 grams of oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried savory
  • 1 tablespoon mint
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons of sauerkraut juice / or water /

Method of preparation :

 

  • Soak the beans in warm water for 24 hours.
  • Discard the water in which it is soaked, cover the beans with warm water and put the pot on high heat until it boils.
  • Pour the water, rinse the beans, cover it again with water and cook until fully cooked.
  • Soak the dried peppers in warm water for about 30 minutes.
  • Drain the water from the beans.
  • Stew leeks in oil for about 10 minutes and add beans and spices. Stir well and remove from the heat to cool.

 

  • Fill the dried peppers with a spoon of the appropriate size.
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Arrange the peppers in a pan, add the cabbage juice / or water, if you do not have one / and bake for about 30-40 minutes.
