Necessary products
For the dough:
100 grams of sugar
180 grams of butter
300 grams of flour
1-2 egg yolks
peel 1/2 lemon
For the stuffing:
1,250 kilograms of cottage cheese
4 egg yolks
250 grams of sugar
Method of preparation :
In a large bowl, mix the sugar, softened butter, flour, 1-2 egg yolks and grated rind of 1/2 lemon. Knead the dough, half of which roll out into a square about 3-4 inches thick. Put it in a pan and bake in the oven until semi-finished.
In a suitable bowl, mix the curd thoroughly with 4 egg yolks and 250 grams of sugar. Remove the base from the oven and spread the sweet filling on it, level the layer. Roll out the second half of the dough, cover the curd with it. Coat the surface with beaten egg and pierce with a fork in several places.
Bake the pie until ready and serve it sprinkled with powdered sugar.
