Required products :

2 kg of tomatoes (you can use green)
sugar, the amount of which should be equal to the weight of tomatoes, after blanching them
juice of 1 lemon
2 cm ginger root

Method of preparation :

Pour 2 liters of water into a suitable container and put on the stove to boil. When this happens, blanch the diced tomatoes in it for about 5-7 minutes.

 

Then pour them into a colander to drain the excess liquid and remove them. Pour them into a suitable pot (for cooking jam) and then sprinkle with sugar equal to the weight of tomatoes.

 

Add the diced ginger and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Once the mixture boils, remove from the heat and let stand overnight.

 

The next day, add jam by adding the juice of 1 lemon. It should be cooked for 40 minutes.

 

You should distribute the jam in clean and dry jars, cover them with plastic wrap and let it stay until it cools completely.

 

You can now consume.
