Necessary products:

 

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 stalk fresh onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • a few sprigs of parsley
  • 1 stalk fresh thyme
  • pinch of salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • half a red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • 4 soft tomatoes, peeled
  • 150 milliliters of tomato juice
  • 10 grams of sugar
  • 200 grams of fresh peeled okra
  • 1 teaspoon hot red pepper

 

Method of preparation:

 

Heat the butter in a saucepan and fry the finely chopped onions, garlic, parsley and thyme. Stir and reduce the heat.

 

In this way, the ingredients will release and retain their aromas. Add the peeled and chopped okra, chopped tomatoes, peppers and tomato juice.

Season with salt, pepper, paprika, sugar and pour the tomato juice, water and broth.

 

Stir and simmer over low heat for an hour. Mix the flour in 2-3 tablespoons of broth and add the mixture to the stew.
