Sea buckthorn is an unusually healing plant. Sea buckthorn fruits contain 190 active biological compounds. And what is very important - these compounds are contained in proportions ideal for humans. Sea buckthorn fruits are rich in vitamins, pectins, organic acids, micro and macro elements. The antioxidants contained in sea buckthorn create a powerful barrier to viral infections. Substances contained in sea buckthorn berries slow down the aging of the body, restore thyroid function, and help heal wounds.
Sea buckthorn also contains serotonin, which is also called the "hormone of happiness." Housewives actively use such a valuable berry for preparing various dishes: they cook compotes, kissels, fruit drinks, prepare jelly, jam, marmalade. In order to be able to cook sea buckthorn dishes all year round, sea buckthorn can be frozen.
After defrosting, sea buckthorn will have exactly the same aroma and taste as fresh. And at the same time, frozen sea buckthorn retains all the beneficial properties. Remember that sea buckthorn should be frozen in portions, since a defrosted berry can no longer be re-frozen.
