Meat and potatoes are ideal companions in any dish. There are many recipes with these ingredients, but you want to replace the classic and popular options with something new. We have compiled a list of very tasty dishes with potatoes and meat that you can quickly and easily prepare for any holiday.

1. Potato rosettes with bacon, hot appetizer

Ingredients:

5-6 medium potatoes; 12 strips of raw smoked bacon; salt, spices for potatoes to taste; 40 g melted butter.

Turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees. Rinse the potatoes and cut into thin slices lengthwise using a special nozzle. Place cooked potatoes in a large bowl, add spices (ground rosemary, dried garlic, sweet paprika, etc.), salt, mix with your hands, pour in warm ghee and mix again.

On the table, lay out three pieces of bacon overlapping in a strip, each piece should half cover the previous one. On the resulting strip of bacon, lay the slices of potatoes tightly overlapping so that the strip of bacon is at the bottom. Sprinkle the bacon with grated cheese if you like. Carefully roll the resulting design into a tight roll and place in a greased cake mold. From the indicated amount of ingredients, we get 4 roses. Bake the appetizer for 40 minutes in a preheated oven until the potatoes are ready.

2. Potato roll with meat and herbs

Ingredients:

600 g potatoes; 300 g pork; 100 g leeks; onion head; 100 g of spinach, cilantro, dill; 3-4 cloves of garlic; 100 ml of milk; 60 g butter; 1 yolk; salt, pepper, thyme to taste.

Boil potatoes, cool and mash, add milk, butter and salt.

In a frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil, fry finely chopped pork into strips, we also send chopped leeks, onions, garlic, spinach, cilantro and dill to it. Add salt, pepper, thyme to taste, fry until fully cooked.

To make it more convenient to roll the roll, lay parchment, grease the top layer with vegetable oil. Spread mashed potatoes evenly all around. Then distribute the meat with herbs, and start rolling the roll from the near edge from you. If you notice that the puree is falling apart somewhere, gently correct the defect with a dry hand. Transfer the roll to a foil boat, grease the accessible areas with yolk, cover completely with foil and send to the oven preheated to 220 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

3. Chicken stuffed with potatoes

chicken, 1 carcass; 200 g potatoes; 1 egg; 100 g of Tkemali sauce; 5 cloves of garlic; 50 ml sour cream; salt, pepper to taste.

We wash the chicken inside and out, transfer it to a bowl, add Tkemali sauce, chopped garlic, sour cream, salt, pepper to it. We rub the carcass well on all sides (also inside), cover with cling film and put in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

While the chicken is marinating, cut the potatoes into pieces, mix with spices. When the chicken is marinated, stuff it with potatoes, pull the passage with a food thread. Lubricate the carcass with olive oil and send to the oven for 50-60 minutes.

In a frying pan with the addition of olive oil, fry the meat, potatoes and eggplant until golden brown, put each piece on a paper towel.

We collect the cake in a round shape. The first layer of potatoes, then meat, eggplant, arugula, grated carrots and curd cheese.
