We gain the strength of our body from proteins. Consumption of protein also helps to control hunger and its frequent testing. They are responsible for the growth, repair and production of many enzymes, neurotransmitters and hormones , whose roles cannot be replaced by other macronutrients. The recommended daily dose of protein is 46 grams for women and 56 grams for men. Among the foods that are high in protein are:

 

1. Eggs


Eggs are loaded with vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, antioxidants that are good for the eyes and brain .

 

2.  Milk

Milk is an excellent source of high quality protein. A glass of whole milk contains about 8 grams of protein. Milk contains almost every nutrient needed by the human body. It is also high in calcium, phosphorus and vitamin B2.

 

3.  Almonds

Almonds also contain protein and are especially good for vegans . Nuts also contain fat, fiber, vitamin E, manganese and magnesium. 

 

4.  Lentils

Lentils are a type of legume. It is a rich source of protein, as a glass of cooked lentils contains approximately 18 grams of protein. Lentils also contain important nutrients such as manganese, iron, magnesium , folic acid and fiber.

 

5.  Shrimp

Shrimp are a good source of protein, but also omega-3 fatty acids . About 90% of the calories from shrimp come from protein, making them one of the best sources of protein.

 

6.  Broccoli

100 grams of chopped broccoli contain 3 grams of protein. They are extremely healthy vegetables that contain vitamin C, K, fiber and potassium.

 

Other sources of plant protein are oats, quinoa , pumpkin seeds, green peas, beans, peanut butter and more. It is well known that meat is rich in protein, especially beef and veal, chicken breasts, and products of animal origin such as cottage cheese and cheese.
