The software product created by the computer scientists uses data on the metabolism of healthy and pathologically affected tissues and compares each case with a model created on the basis of statistical processing. The idea is to predict the later course of the disease. The team also seeks to identify biomarkers - metabolites detectable in the blood or urine that target a specific disease.
