Bitter orange is also known as Citrus Aurantium. It is used as a spice for weight loss. Initially dried in the dark and sprinkled with salt. Spicy rice with bitter orange for weight loss

Ingredients of the recipe :

  • 3 bitter oranges, dried (used as a spice);
  • ½ packet of brown (imperial) rice;
  • 300 grams of fresh peppers, which are cut into strips;
  • 2 or 3 tomatoes, which are cut into cubes;
  • 100 grams of diced carrots;
  • 100 grams of olives;
  • 200 or 300 grams of mushrooms (maybe mushrooms, roe deer to your taste);
  • ½ large onion head;
  • 4 very hot peppers;
  • ½ teaspoon of cumin;
  • 1 cup yogurt.

Method of preparation :

Onions, mushrooms and carrots are cut into small cubes and together with a little olive oil are placed in a pan to fry lightly. The washed rice is added to the mixture and fried together with it, add the chopped peppers and tomatoes. Fry for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Then pour twice as much water as the rice. Boil for 15 minutes until the rice is completely cooked. Shortly before removing from the heat, add the finely chopped dried bitter orange and hot peppers.

When serving, add 2 or 3 teaspoons of yogurt to the spicy rice.

Application of the diet with bitter orange and spicy rice

1. Hourly meals

You can eat rice every 3 hours for 250 grams per meal maximum. If you can extend the interval between meals to 4 hours, it will be better, but in many cases, it turns out to be quite difficult because the dish lacks a protein component and there is little fat to keep you full.

Strictly observe at least 3 hours between meals so that the body has used up the energy received from the previous meal before being loaded with a new dose of calories.

2. Spicy rice used as a side dish

The purpose of this diet is to replace bread and any other type of carbohydrate with spicy rice with bitter orange. The maximum duration is 3 months, due to the danger of deficiency of minerals and vitamins due to the same type of diet. If the diet has proved to be suitable for you, you can take a second course again after a month's rest.

With this option, weight loss is more gradual but long-lasting!

3. Interval application

This diet consists of the following: 2 "rice days", followed by 2 "chicken days". During the chicken days, chicken soup is consumed, prepared according to a traditional recipe. The diet lasts 10 days, but maybe less depending on the weight you want to lose. 2 weeks of rest follow and it can be repeated.
