Succinic acid is used to regulate acidity (usually added to beverages, caramels, chewing gum, etc.), in dry flavored desserts, in jelly desserts, in dry mixes for making beverages at home. It is used in the treatment of alcohol poisoning and their prevention. The substance is used in the manufacture of plastics, drugs, and also in analytical chemistry.

Impact on humans

Succinic acid has strong restorative properties, improves the work of internal organs, increases immunity, lowers blood sugar, rids the body of toxic substances, helps to normalize the functions of the nervous system, stimulates the brain. In combination with glucose, E 363 maintains body tone. This is probably the only supplement that is considered harmless and is also prescribed for children.
