Eggs And Ham Increase Children's Intelligence

The substance choline is of paramount importance for the development of certain areas in the brain related to the ability to remember.

The typical English breakfast of bacon and eggs is not considered the healthiest food and is often associated with high cholesterol.

However, this is not entirely true, say American scientists from the University of North Carolina, quoted by the British tabloid "Daily Mail".

They found that ham and fried eggs are actually products that can be beneficial for brain development and increase intelligence in unborn babies.

Recent studies show that high-calorie foods, such as ham and eggs, have beneficial effects if consumed by pregnant women.

Pregnant women have a long list of foods that they should not consume, as this can affect the fetus.

The authors of the study, published in the journal Experimental Biology, found that the substance choline contained in pork and eggs was essential for the development of certain areas of the brain related to memory.

Previous research has shown that this substance can help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
The nutrient can also be found in the liver, milk, chicken and nuts.
