Green Coffee Bean Extract Helps To Lose Weight

Scientists suggest that the effect is due to the content of chlorogenic acid in green coffee beans.

Green coffee bean extract helps lose weight, a study found.

Daily use of the extract tablets, as well as following a healthy, low-fat diet and regular physical activity, is a safe, effective, and inexpensive way to lose weight, says John Vinson of the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania.

The study involved 16 obese adults aged between 20 and 30 years. They take 1050 milligrams of green coffee bean extract daily. Within 22 weeks, the researchers monitored the volunteers' eating habits, heart rate, exercise regimen, body weight, and blood pressure.

According to the results, the participants lost an average of 7-8 kg.

Scientists still do not know what is the effect of the extract on weight loss. The chlorogenic acid contained in green coffee beans is thought to play a key role.

Green, unroasted, coffee beans have other benefits. They contain polyphenols, which have 2 times stronger antioxidant effect than green tea and grape seed extract, which have gained wide popularity as agents that eliminate the action of free radicals and help preserve youth at the cellular level in the body.

Consuming a cup of green coffee beans has an invigorating effect, increases our physical capabilities, helps reduce fatigue, while stimulating the mind and improving our ability to concentrate.
