Baked potatoes are a filling and easy to prepare hot appetizer. We offer you a recipe for them, including Pecorino cheese and breadcrumbs. The ingredients are for 4 servings , and the preparation will take you about 1 hour . Let's start!

Necessary products

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons grated Pecorino cheese
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs with spices
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method of preparation

Preheat the oven to about 220 degrees. Peel the potatoes and put them in a bowl of cold water so that they do not darken.

Put a potato in a large wooden or metal spoon. With a sharp knife make slices in width - not to the bottom, but until the knife rests on the edge of the spoon. Leave less than half a centimeter between each slice. Return the potatoes to the bowl of water and repeat with the rest.

When you make slices of all the potatoes, arrange them in a small pan. Pour half of the butter on them and season with salt and pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes. Remove from the oven and pour the remaining melted butter on them. Sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs. Return to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown.

Serve the baked potatoes while still warm.

Enjoy your meal!
