Required products :

  • 1 teaspoon bulgur
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
  • 6 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil (or walnut oil)
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 connection kale without stems, chopped
  • 1/3 tea cup of pitted dates
  • 2-4 tablespoons water
  • 4 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method of preparation:

Prepare the bulgur according to the instructions on the package, then rinse it under lukewarm water and drain.

Roast the walnuts in a dry pan until browned for 2-3 minutes.

Heat 5 teaspoons of olive oil (or walnut oil) in a saucepan and fry the onion until it starts to brown, then add the garlic and stir for about 15 seconds. Pour the kale, dates and 2-4 tablespoons of water and cook, stirring often, until the vegetables are soft.

Add the bulgur to the pot with the vegetables, add the vinegar, salt and heat for 1 minute. Sprinkle with crushed walnuts and 1 teaspoon of olive oil (or walnut oil) before serving.
