How To Cook Chicken Legs With Potatoes, Garlic And Onions - Recipe

Required products :

  • 3 chicken legs, halved
  • 4 large potatoes, well washed and sliced
  • 2 small heads of red onion, cut into quarters
  • 5 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 1 tablespoon Italian spice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cube chicken broth, crushed
  • 3-4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 stalk of green onion, finely chopped

Method of preparation :

  • Rinse the chicken legs under cold running water and dry them with kitchen paper.
  • Arrange them in a pan and spread the potatoes and garlic around them.
  • Sprinkle with salt, freshly ground black pepper, crushed cube of broth, red pepper and Italian spice.
  • Add olive oil, mix well and refrigerate for 30 minutes to marinate.
  • Preheat oven to 230 degrees.
  • Bake the dish for 25 minutes, add the chopped red onion and reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees.
  • Cook for another 25 minutes or until the meat and potatoes are fully cooked.
  • Serve the chicken legs warm, garnished with potatoes and roasted onions and sprinkled with chopped green onions.
