Required products :
- 170 grams of unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 340 grams of dark chocolate, broken in bulk
- 6 large eggs at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- pinch of salt
For garnish :
- cocoa powder
- fresh raspberries
Method of preparation :
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Grease a round pan about 23 cm in size with oil.
- Mix the chocolate and butter in a fireproof bowl and melt them over a pot of boiling water. The bowl should not touch the water.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, vanilla and salt for about 5-8 minutes until smooth and thick.
- Carefully add the cooled chocolate mixture and stir to distribute evenly.
- Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 35-45 minutes.
- Wait for it to cool completely before transferring it to a tray of the appropriate size.
- Serve the chocolate cake sprinkled with cocoa and garnished with fresh raspberries.
