How To Cook Christmas Cookies With Cinnamon And Butter - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 tea cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

For sprinkling :

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method of preparation :

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir and set aside.
  • Beat the butter with the white and brown sugar with a mixer until it forms a granular paste.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract and continue to beat until smooth.
  • Add the dry ingredients, mix with a wooden spoon and knead a smooth dough.
  • Roll it out on a lightly floured surface and cut the cakes into shapes or form balls with a diameter of about 2.5 centimeters.
  • Arrange in a tray, leaving about 4-5 inches between them.
  • Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle.
  • Bake Christmas cookies for 18-20 minutes.
  • Allow them to cool completely before serving.
