Required products :
- 2 1/2 teaspoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 tea cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
For sprinkling :
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Method of preparation :
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Stir and set aside.
- Beat the butter with the white and brown sugar with a mixer until it forms a granular paste.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract and continue to beat until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients, mix with a wooden spoon and knead a smooth dough.
- Roll it out on a lightly floured surface and cut the cakes into shapes or form balls with a diameter of about 2.5 centimeters.
- Arrange in a tray, leaving about 4-5 inches between them.
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle.
- Bake Christmas cookies for 18-20 minutes.
- Allow them to cool completely before serving.
