Necessary products:

 

  • 60 grams of butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 150 grams of chopped pepperoni salami or other sausage of your choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 2 teaspoons warm milk
  • 150-200 grams of grated mozzarella
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 fresh chopped basil leaves
  • 3 broken eggs
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • pinch of salt
  • a pinch of dried oregano
  • 100 grams of coarsely ground breadcrumbs
  • frying fat

 

Method of preparation:

 

In a pan, heat the butter and olive oil. Fry onion, sausage and add flour.

 

Stir vigorously and dilute with milk.

 

Add the mozzarella, stir and after thickening season with salt, pepper, oregano and basil.

 

Cool, pour the mixture into the oblong pan. Cover with cling film and store in the refrigerator for two hours.

 

Cut into pieces.

 

Form croquettes with floured palms.

 

Roll them in a mixture of flour, oregano and salt, then dip in eggs and breadcrumbs.

 

Heat more fat and fry until golden. Drain, arrange on a plate and serve warm, garnished with a sauce of your choice.
