How To Cook Potato Salad With Bacon, Tomatoes, Corn And White Wine - Recipe

Required products :

  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 1 small shallot (finely chop)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 / 4-1 / 2 tea glass of white wine
  • 500 grams of potatoes (peel and cut into small cubes)
  • grains of 4 cobs of corn
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika (preferably sweet)
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 250 grams of tomatoes (chopped)

Method of preparation :

Boil the potatoes until semi-cooked (about 10 minutes), drain the liquid and rinse with cold water.

Fry the bacon until crispy and all the fat is melted. Remove on paper.

In the same pan, fry the onions until transparent. Then add the potatoes to it. Just before they turn golden, add the corn kernels and mix well. After 5 minutes, sprinkle with paprika and thyme, pour the wine and let the mixture simmer until all the products are ready.

When you remove the pan from the heat, pour the tomatoes and bacon into it.

Serve the salad immediately.
