How To Cook Wholemeal Pancakes With Buttermilk And Butter - Recipe

Required products :

  • 2 teaspoons wheat flour, wholemeal
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tea cups buttermilk at room temperature
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • butter

Method of preparation :

  • In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.
  • Stir and make a well in the middle.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add the buttermilk, melted butter and vanilla extract.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the well and mix gently with a wooden spoon or spatula until homogeneous.
  • Let the pancake batter rest for 5-10 minutes.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and grease it with oil.
  • Pour 1/3 tea cup of the mixture and bake until golden brown.
  • Turn and bake for another 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Serve the pancakes warm with jam, honey, cheese or anything else of your choice.
