Recently, housewives are increasingly using ginger root to prepare their dishes. Like other food products, it has its own specific shelf life. So, fresh ginger root can be stored for about a week, and dried - for about six months.
But what if we want to save ginger? It can be frozen like other products. Freezing is the easiest and most reliable way to preserve this product, because a small amount of ginger is required to prepare a dish, and you want to save the rest of the root somehow for cooking the following dishes.
After defrosting, the aroma, taste and the whole complex of useful substances will be preserved in it. You can freeze ginger in many ways: whole, grated or sliced. Depending on where you will use ginger later, choose the method that suits you the most.
