Experts from the University of Melbourne find that depending on various indicators, such as body mass index or waist circumference, we can fall into different categories. Children were much more likely to be overweight for BMI than for waist measurements. It is not uncommon to underestimate or overestimate the growth of children, where the measures are outside the reference range.

P. Schmid believes that parents in most cases do not take weight problems seriously in both directions, which will require better information about the characteristics of critical body weight.
