Raisins - A Gift From Nature

Raisins are considered a natural gift because they are rich in a number of elements that are effective in some serious diseases.

Raisins are rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. They contain vitamin C, P, B1, B2, carotene, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, manganese, selenium and organic acids. They contain a phytochemical called resveratrol, which lowers cholesterol and has anti-cancer properties . Rich in so many elements, raisins are considered a natural gift.

Raisins regulate the acidic pH

Raisins have important elements such as magnesium and potassium, which reduce acids in the body and prevent their side effects. Therefore, they are considered an excellent remedy for acidosis , a condition of increased acidity in the blood, which can cause damage to some organs.

Raisins help with anemia

Raisins contain a huge amount of iron, which helps treat anemia. They are also rich in vitamin B complex, which are important for blood formation. The high content of honey also helps in the production of red blood cells. With regular consumption of raisins, iron deficiency can be obtained and anemia can be cured.

With poor eyesight - raisins

Raisins contain polyphenolic phytonutrients that are important for eye health. They protect the eyes from external pests caused by free radicals . Thanks to raisins, some eye diseases such as cataracts and macular degeneration can be prevented. Dried fruits are also good sources of vitamin A and beta-carotene, which improve eye vision.

Raisins help maintain healthy teeth

Another great advantage of raisins is that they contain a phytochemical called oleanolic acid , which protects against most types of dental problems. People who suffer from caries or brittle teeth, for example, can consume raisins daily. They also prevent the appearance of bacteria in the mouth, and their rich content of calcium protects tooth enamel.

Raisins reduce high blood pressure

People who have high blood pressure can eat a handful of raisins to regulate blood flow . They contain antioxidants, iron, potassium and vitamin B-complex, which reduce hypertension. The lack of sodium makes them a great breakfast.

Raisins are also effective in cancer

High levels of polyphenolic antioxidants, known as catechins , eliminate free radicals that lead to the formation of tumor cells. Raisins are considered particularly useful against colon cancer, but their daily consumption prevents other forms of cancer.
