Tachycardia

In tachycardia, food should be consumed frequently in small portions and caution should be exercised with overeating. Unloading days are often made, and foods should be rich in magnesium and potassium.

Tachycardia is an accelerated heart rhythm, which is a consequence of fever, emotional and physical stress, smoking, alcohol use, low blood pressure and low hemoglobin, increased thyroid function, malignancies, the use of certain drugs.

Nutrition in tachycardia should be based on the following principles:

  • food intake should be regular;
  • portions should be small;
  • not to eat late at night;
  • to limit sweets in the menu;
  • to make unloading days;
  • the daily amount of fat should not exceed 50 grams;
  • to emphasize products rich in magnesium and potassium;
  • to take low-calorie meals.

Useful products for tachycardia include:

  • honey - dilates blood vessels and improves blood supply to the heart;
  • foods high in iron, potassium and magnesium (raisins, dried and fresh apricots, cherries, almonds, celery (root and stems)) grapefruit, grapes, dates, raisins, prunes, parsley, cabbage, blackberries, bananas, peaches, pineapple, dogwood;
  • rye and wheat bran;
  • nuts;
  • rosehip decoction, herbal tea - strengthen the heart muscle;
  • fresh raw vegetables, baked or finely chopped, salads - lots of trace elements and vitamins, minimum calories;
  • fresh fruits and berries, juices, compotes, mousses, jellies and pickles thereof;
  • dried fruit;
  • steamed protein omelet, soft-boiled eggs (not more than 1 per day);
  • sour milk products (cream only as an addition to dishes);
  • porridges made with milk or water, puddings;
  • bran bread, unleavened bread;
  • vegetarian vegetable and cereal soups, fruit and milk soups;
  • lean pork, beef, turkey, chicken, beef - to be steamed, baked, minced meat;
  • lean types of cooked or baked fish, in the form of meatballs, meatballs;
  • soft sauces based on vegetable decoctions;
  • sunflower, corn, flaxseed and other types of vegetable oils (up to 15 milliliters per day).

Dangerous and harmful foods in tachycardia:

  • alcoholic and energy drinks, such as caffeine, strong tea;
  • greasy, spicy, salty, spicy food;
  • cooking cream;
  • smoked products;
  • spices, salt;
  • fatty sauces;
  • articles containing soda.
