The Character - Relevant To The Figure

Impulsive people are prone to overeating and alcohol abuse. It is different with the conscientious - when they eat more, then compensate with a day off.

Immobility and poor diet are common causes of overweight.

However, not everything comes down to our eating and living habits. It turns out that the character of the man also plays a significant role in the figure.

A US study collected detailed data on 1988 people for 50 years.

Based on an analysis, researchers at the National Institute on Aging determine how personality traits relate to participants' weight and body mass index.

Although weight usually increases with age, the most significant indicator of who will be overweight is impulsivity, scientists say.

The weakest diligent people remain.

Impulsive people are prone to overeating and alcohol abuse. It is different from the conscientious - when they eat more, they usually then compensate with a day off.

"People with an impulsive nature can never stop eating a biscuit, they eat the whole package," explains Dr. Angelina Soutine of the research team.

People who like risks, as well as those who often disagree with others and are always ready for an argument or quarrel, gain more weight.

Cynics and those who experience sports or competitive malice also have poor results in weight control. Neurotics more often go through cycles of weight loss and weight gain. The results also show that people with the highest rates of impulsivity weigh an average of 10 kg more than less emotional. Diligent people are usually weaker and maintain a constant weight. They are also smarter and play sports regularly. The weakest in periods of their lives are neurotics. With age, however, they gain weight and enter the group of obesity because then they can no longer lose weight fast.

The study did not find a relationship between weight and changes in character.

Even if impulsive people become more balanced with age, their initial eating habits remain and their new temperament does not affect their weight.

And what kind of character are you?
