Certainly each of us has faced the winter-spring problem, namely, vitamin deficiency in winter and early spring. Of course, it is known that fruits and vegetables are sources of much-needed substances, also that there are already natural gifts all year round. But during the mentioned period of the year they are not famous for especially good properties (unless they are in their season) and what do we expect them to be after so many nitrates?

So let's see how to get vitamins in the winter ?

  • Green spices - parsley , dill, green onions. Just cut a few stalks or feathers and sprinkle the finished dish. You can grow these greens all year round in a pot placed on the window sill :)
  • Garlic - of course, we can not do without His Majesty's astringent breath. Season dishes and salads with it and be calm about your immunity.
  • Citrus fruits (lemons, oranges, grapefruits, tangerines ) - are an excellent source of vitamins, but remember that they are not suitable for consumption by people with allergies.
  • Spinach - freeze enough of it and cook it all winter with rice, make soups.
  • Beets - a wonderful salad you can make from grated boiled beets with carrots, garlic, eggs, cucumbers.
  • Carrots - carrot salads with garlic, carrots with apples and prunes, carrots with celery ... All of them are extremely rich in vitamins, are delicious and bring color in the otherwise gray-white winter.
  • Cabbage - raw, boiled, sour, stewed ... A real deposit of useful substances - give them to your body.
  • Horseradish - you can marinate or use as an additive to tomato sauces or those of red peppers, as well as to various snacks and other similar culinary delicacies. Horseradish will not only give the dish a sharp taste, but will also help you if you have a runny nose (as well as all the spicy spices).

It is good to eat apples and bananas in winter.
