Vitamin C is water-soluble, which means that the body cannot produce or store it, and it must be obtained through food.

Contrary to popular belief, vitamin C does not have the power to cure the flu and colds . However, it is a very important substance. Vitamin C is essential for the growth and repair of many tissues in the body. 
 
Vitamin C helps in the synthesis of collagen, which is needed for the skin , tendons, joints and blood vessels. 
 
The only disadvantage of vitamin C is that it dissolves in water, which means that the body cannot produce or store it. Vitamin intake can be significantly increased by consuming the following foods, each of which contains it in larger quantities than oranges . 
 
Yellow scale
 
This vegetable is colorful, crunchy and incredibly low in calories . The amount of a half cup of chopped yellow viol contains 155 mg of vitamin C . This is more than the recommended daily amount, which is 75 mg. 
 
 
 
Curly cabbage
 
Because kale is often used in salads, most people usually get more vitamin C from it than orange citrus. The amount of two cups of vegetables contains 150 mg of the antioxidant . In the same amount are 648 mg of potassium and almost 7 g of fiber . 
 
Berries
 
The truth is that a cup of chopped strawberries contains almost the same amount of vitamin C as a medium-sized orange - 98 mg.
