Men can protect themselves from prostate cancer by including enough fruits and vegetables in their diet and reducing fat and red meat. Experts from the University of New South Wales reviewed the dietary recommendations for the prevention of prostate cancer. Adherence to natural products has been discussed in many diseases. It turns out that this is also important, even when the cancer has already been diagnosed.
Doctors pay special attention to tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, green tea and other sources of vitamin E and selenium. Consumption of processed foods, especially high-fat foods, including dairy products, is not recommended. Charcoal-treated meats are also dangerous to health.
The conclusions of the experts were published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics.
