How To Cook Mashed Potatoes With Artichokes And Spinach - Recipe

Required products :

  • 700 grams of potatoes, peeled and cut in bulk
  • left
  • 220 grams of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup fresh milk
  • 1 cup grated yellow cheese (white cheddar)
  • 100 grams of frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 can of 400 grams of artichoke hearts
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • pepper
  • hot pepper flakes

Method of preparation :

Put the potatoes in a saucepan, add plenty of salt and cover with water. Boil them until soft, then strain and return to the hot pot to evaporate the water from them.

Add the cream cheese to the potatoes and mash with a potato press to combine.

In a small saucepan, heat the milk together with the butter to melt. Pour over the mashed potatoes and stir.

Add cheddar, spinach and artichoke, season with garlic powder. Finally mix to combine all products and season to taste with salt, pepper and chili flakes if you want a spicy taste.
