How To Cook Mashed Zucchini And Potatoes With Onions And Cream - Recipe

Learn how to cook "Zucchini and potato puree with onion and cream". Delicious recipe.

Required products :

  • 550-600 grams of potatoes (about 3 pieces)
  • 350-400 grams of zucchini (1 piece)
  • 1 large onion
  • 50 grams of butter
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons sour cream
  • salt, pepper, parsley

 

Method of preparation :

Peel and rinse the potatoes with water, cut them into medium-sized pieces.

Wash the zucchini, if it is more ripe, peel it and remove the seeds. Cut into small pieces.

Put the two vegetables in a saucepan, fill them with water and cook until soft (20-25 minutes).

Peel an onion, rinse and cut into cubes. Fry in hot oil for ten minutes on medium heat.

When the vegetables are cooked, drain the liquid in a separate bowl and add the oil. Mash them, they should turn into a puree without lumps. Then add the cream and mash again.

Next onion and stir. If necessary, pour the decoction until you get the desired consistency of the puree.

Season with salt, freshly ground black pepper and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley or other fresh green spice.
