Required products :
600 grams mashed potatoes
200 grams ham
400 grams canned mushrooms
1/2 carrot
1/2 onion
1 egg
100 grams breadcrumbs
salt to taste
frying oil
The quantities of the products are approximate, it is important that the mashed potatoes are not significantly less than the other products taken together, because otherwise the meatballs will fall apart.
Method of preparation :
Fry the mushrooms in 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add the grated carrot, stir and continue to fry, adding the finely chopped onion a few minutes later. It's time for the ham (cut into cubes). Stir everything again and leave the onion and carrot on the stove until ready. Add a little salt if you prefer, but keep in mind that ham and mushrooms contain salt.
Transfer the finished mixture to a suitable container and allow to cool slightly. Then add the mashed potatoes to it and mix thoroughly with a spoon.
Pour the breadcrumbs into a suitable bowl, in another beat the egg lightly.
From the prepared potato dough form meatballs, dip each of them in the egg, then roll in breadcrumbs and fry on all sides in hot oil until golden.
