Chokeberry or chokeberry is a plant with very pleasant, healthy, slightly tart, sweet and sour berries. There are few calories in the fruits of chokeberry, which allows them to be used for dietary nutrition. But there are a lot of vitamins, minerals, beta-carotene.
Chokeberry contains starch, dietary fiber, organic acids, natural sugars, proteins and fats. Pectin substances contained in chokeberry berries help to remove radioactive substances and heavy metals. Regular consumption of chokeberry helps strengthen blood vessels, improves liver function and the endocrine system.
In cooking, chokeberry is used to make marmalade, jams, compotes, syrup, and is added to the dough when baking muffins. Chokeberry perfectly tolerates freezing without losing its beneficial properties. Aronia is frozen for the winter in several ways, depending on how you are going to use it later.
