Almost all products are frozen, but especially those that are not available in winter. Sorrel also belongs to such products.
Frozen sorrel will help diversify the menu in winter. And besides, sorrel contains B vitamins, carotene, ascorbic acid, potassium, calcium, magnesium, which makes dishes with sorrel not only tasty, but also healthy.
Freeze sorrel in portions, that is, each portion should be calculated for the preparation of one dish. Add frozen sorrel to the dish at the very end of cooking and only when frozen.
Recipes with fresh sorrel ingredient
Step 1
For work, we need sorrel, a kitchen board, a knife, a tea towel, freezer bags.
Step 2
Sort the sorrel, removing damaged leaves. Rinse well under running water. Dry on a kitchen towel.
Step 3
Cut the sorrel into narrow strips.
Step 4
Divide into freezer bags.
Step 5
Send to the freezer. Use as needed.
