Interestingly, the darker the shade of the oil, the stronger its aroma.

Useful properties of pistachio oil

The kernel of nuts consists of 70% useful oil. The composition of the fat includes unsaturated fatty acids: 51-54% oleic, 31-35% linoleic, about 2% linolenic and as much palmitoleic. A representative of saturated acids is sterol, the amount of which is approximately 2%.

The oil is rich in phytosterols (including beta-sitosterol) and the useful vitamin E (19 mg per 100 grams of oil).

Phytosterols are able to activate the processes of skin regeneration, contribute to the strengthening of its barrier function, as well as contribute to elasticity. In addition, these substances affect the synthesis of collagen, have anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties, are used to soothe sensitive skin.

Due to the large amount of oleic acid, nut oil helps to restore the barrier function of the epidermis. It is able to retain moisture, penetrating as deep as possible into the skin. This makes it a suitable product for flaky and dry skin, as well as a good means of restorative hair care.

Linoleic acid fights skin dehydration and reduces water loss from its surface layer. At the same time it protects it from external factors, has a calming and nourishing effect.

Thanks to the tannins in the composition of the useful liquid, it has anti-inflammatory and healing effects.

It is recommended that the product be part of the menu of people suffering from tuberculosis, anemia, as well as people suffering from influenza, pneumonia and going through any severe infections.

The oil improves cerebral circulation, stimulates memory and increases the ability to concentrate. When added to food, it reduces the susceptibility to heart disease, perfectly tones and improves mood.

The oil also helps in the treatment of jaundice, is used as an analgesic in gastric and hepatic colitis. It also has a beneficial effect on people suffering from arterial hypertension and thrombophlebitis, various chest diseases, and cough. It has tonic and tonic effects.

Pistachio oil is also used for rinsing the gums, and for this purpose can be applied in pure form or in combination with vegetable oils (jojoba, almond, peach, the ratio should be 1: 1).
