Stored For Varicocele

Nutrition in varicocele - varicose veins most often on the left testicle and spermatic cord.

Varicocele is a disease that manifests itself in the appearance of varicose veins most often on the left testicle and spermatic cord. Enlargement of the veins is rarely seen in the right testicle or in both. About 15% of men suffer from this problem, and 40% of the stronger sex, who cannot have children, are diagnosed with varicocele.

Useful foods for varicocele

Nutrition should be aimed not only at nourishing the veins and blood vessels in general, but also at the testicles and the entire male reproductive system.

For this purpose, proteins and fats of plant origin are essential, as well as the intake of vitamin E and zinc.

To obtain the listed items, the patient should include in his menu:
  • more green plants (coriander, celery, parsley, spinach), all vegetables and fruits (especially citrus fruits, avocados, carrots, leafy vegetables, cucumbers, bananas);
  • nuts (walnuts, almonds, pine nuts);
  • hens and quail eggs;
  • meat (chicken, beef);
  • seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame);
  • vegetable fats (sunflower oil, olive oil, sesame and linseed oils);
  • seafood (fish, mussels, oysters, crabs, seaweed, spirulina, rapani);
  • wholemeal bread, wheat bran;
  • sweet foods: honey, dark chocolate and dried fruits (especially dates, prunes and apricots).
  • liquids: 2 liters per day (decoctions of rose hips, hawthorn, freshly squeezed juices).

Dangerous and harmful foods for varicocele

  • alcoholic beverages (cause vascular spasms);
  • salt (retains water in the body, which leads to an increase in blood pressure, under the influence of which there is a deformation of blood vessels; in addition, salt irritates the seminal ducts);
  • beer (increases the level of female hormones);
  • smoked and canned foods (adversely affect the work of the reproductive system);
  • fried foods, confectionery and creams (through their consumption the body absorbs trans fats, which lead to the formation of blood clots and plaques on the walls of the veins, also reduces the amount of testosterone in the body);
  • products containing preservatives and other additives that enhance the taste, aroma and color of food, as well as substances that retain their shelf life for a longer time (they all thin the walls of blood vessels);
  • drinks that contain fructose (destroy the walls of vessels).
