Water (non-carbonated)

In this article, learn more about Water (non-carbonated). Water (non-carbonated) - composition, properties and impact on human health..

Water is a liquid that has no taste or smell, it is colorless under normal environmental conditions. Contains mineral salts and various chemical elements. Its function for the development and existence of the human body is vital. It acts as a universal solvent, thanks to which all biological processes take place.

Depending on the weight, the human body consists of 55 to 78% water. Losing 10% of the latter can be fatal.

The daily amount of pure non-carbonated water that people need to take in order to maintain normal water-salt metabolism in the body is equal to a liter and a half, without it includes products and beverages containing liquids (tea, coffee, soups and others).

Water is divided into two categories: first and highest. The first is the drinking liquid, which undergoes good purification and filtration of all kinds of bacteria, heavy metals and dangerous compounds. Non-carbonated water extracted from natural sources (springs, wells) is categorized as higher.

Depending on the level of mineralization, the latter is divided into 2 more types:

  • Non-carbonated table: contains salts of calcium, sodium, magnesium, bicarbonates (hydrocarbons) and chlorides. Their amount does not exceed 1 gram per liter of liquid. It can be prepared artificially by mineralizing purified drinking water. It can also be further enriched with silver, oxygen, selenium, fluorine and iodine.
  • Medicinal non-carbonated table water, saturated with minerals in quantities of 1 to 10 grams per liter. It is not suitable for daily intake because it can lead to hypermineralization of the body. Not recommended for cooking or boiling. This is due to the fact that during heat treatment the mineral salts precipitate, therefore they are not absorbed by the body.

Useful properties of still water

The benefits of water are not known today. Depending on its mineral and chemical composition, it is prescribed for various diseases.

Non-carbonated water rich in bicarbonates and sulfates is recommended in the treatment of gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, it is indicated for people with chronic diseases of the respiratory tract, kidneys and urinary tract.

Chloride-sulphate-hydrocarbonate still water is suitable for problems of the gastrointestinal tract and chronic diseases of the pancreas and liver.

Chloride-sulphate water has a beneficial effect on people with diabetes, gout and obesity.

In diseases of the intestines and liver, it is recommended to take a glass of still mineral water, warmed to 40-45 degrees, 3 times a day, an hour before meals.

If you are overweight, drink 150-200 milliliters of water (again without soda) at room temperature an hour before eating, also 3 times a day.

Water treatment is applied only after a doctor's appointment and is carried out under medical supervision.

Hazardous properties of still water

Water that has not undergone mandatory purification can cause stomach upset and poisoning.

Excessive healing fluid leads to excessive accumulation of salts in the body, so its use is in courses and on prescription.

Enriched still water is contraindicated for people who are allergic to some of the minerals in its composition.

Children should not drink water containing silver and carbon dioxide, as this may adversely affect their health and development.
