The pancreas plays an important role in the process of digestion, regulates metabolism and participates in the construction of tissues. Inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis) is a common disease. It can develop as a result of poor nutrition, poisoning, alcohol abuse, after taking medication or after injuries.

Consumption of products useful for the pancreas is extremely necessary in complex therapy and contributes to the proper functioning of the body. Dietary nutrition is recommended not only in exacerbation of the disease, but also as a prophylaxis in order to prevent the development of chronic pancreatitis.

Products useful for the pancreas include:

  • soups - lean vegetables with the addition of various cereals - are necessary for the normal functioning of the body;
  • meat - lean meat dishes (beef, chicken, rabbit);
  • lean fish (cooked);
  • of the eggs are useful only egg whites (boiled or omelet);
  • baked apples are most suitable among fruits;
  • of the drinks recommended oshav and rosehip decoction, maybe juices, but diluted with water.

For prevention it is good to do a therapeutic cleansing of the pancreas. For this purpose it is necessary to pour 1 cup of buckwheat with 0.5 liters of kefir and leave the grains to swell for 12 hours. The resulting porridge is taken twice a day: in the morning and two hours before bedtime. Instead of sugar or salt, add a teaspoon of honey. Do this for 10 days, followed by a break of as many and then repeat the course once more.

It should be noted that the correct menu and useful products for the pancreas are determined individually for each patient, given the complexity of the disease. Therefore, it is necessary to consult a doctor and prepare a diet according to the needs of your body.
