Required products :

  • 400 grams of diced potatoes
  • 1 can of 200 grams of tuna fillets, strained
  • 1 stalk of green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 whole egg

Method of preparation :

Boil the potatoes until soft (about 12 minutes). Strain them and return them to the pan, then put them back on the hot plate. Stir and heat for 1 minute to evaporate the liquid. Transfer them to a bowl and mash them. Add the fish, onion, parsley and egg yolk. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix the products.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and pour the flour and breadcrumbs into two separate plates. In the third, beat the egg. From 1 teaspoon of the potato mixture, form a ball, which you roll in flour, then in an egg and finally in the breadcrumbs. Arrange on the prepared pan and prepare the rest of the mixture in the same way.

Heat about 5 cm of oil on the bottom of a pan and fry the meatballs for about 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.

Transfer them to a plate lined with a napkin to drain.

Serve with your favorite sauce - chili, marinara, or just ketchup.
