How To Lose Weight - A Glass Of Milk For Breakfast Is Enough!

Skim milk creates a feeling of satiety for hours, unlike the same amount of juice ...

We eat less at lunch if we drink a large glass of skim milk with breakfast in the morning, Australian nutritionists have found.

Their claim is based on a study involving 34 overweight volunteers.

In their diet for the purposes of science, they add to their morning menu only 500 g of skim milk. Because of this change, it turns out that volunteers consume 30% less food at lunch. "Milk has a high nutritional value and creates a feeling of satiety for a long time," explains the coordinator of the researchers, Diana Lockridge.

To check if the effect is not accidental, nutritionists conducted a second experiment and subjected the same people to a new regime - replacing the morning portion of milk with natural juice with the same energy value, about 250 kilocalories extra. However, this did not lead to the same result.

In the study, participants also assessed their feelings of satiety after breakfast. The amount and type of lunch food is not limited. All volunteers noted that they felt more comfortable and felt fuller when they ate milk for breakfast.
